Icar – HIV, one in 10 people in Italy does not know they are sick

These data will be discussed during the 10th edition of ICAR (Italian Conference on AIDS and Antiviral Research): the event will be held May 22-24, 2018 in Rome. The congress, chaired by Profs Massimo Andreoni, Andrea Antinori and Carlo Federico Perno, will take place at Ergife Palace Hotel. More than eight hundred specialists are expected, including researchers, physicians, specialists from various fields involved in the care and treatment of HIV infection, volunteers from associations involved in the fight against AIDS.

ICAR Is organized under the auspices of the SIMIT, Italian Society of Infectious and Tropical Diseases and with the sponsorship of all the major scientific societies in the area of infectious and virological.

congress, on new therapeutic strategies, enabling long-term management of the
HIV patients, and on the’eradication of hepatitis C in patients co-infected with HIV and HCV.
