BRACCIANO – MEETING ON BREAST CANCER PREVENTION AND TREATMENT

Initiative sponsored by Consulta Comunale Femminile in collaboration with the Susan G.Komen Italy Onlus.

Thursdayì April 22, 6 p.m., Historical Archives Conference Room.

A meeting to address the issue of prevention in the fight against breast cancer. This l’objective of the conference ‘Together for the Cure: reflections on breast cancer prevention and treatment’, promoted by the Municipal Women's Council in collaboration with the Susan G.Komen Italia Onlus , which will be held at theà Thursdayì April 22, at 6 p.m., at the Conference Room of the’Bracciano Historical Archives.

Speakers will include: the Mayor of Bracciano, Giuliano Sala; the Councilwoman in charge of Gender Policies, Paola Lucci; l’Councillor for Social Policies, Elena Carone Fabiani; Marina Viganelli and Dr. M. M. M. Viganelli, who will be in charge of the.ssa Marinella Linardos.

During the’meeting verrà inaugurated an exhibition of photographs and drawings on previous editions of the ‘Komen Rome Race for the Cure’: the mini solidarity marathonà With women operated on for breast cancer to be held at theà next May 16 in Rome.

And like every year, there will also be many people from Bracciano at the starting line of the mini-marathon, now in its 11th edition, which will takeà the kickoff at 10 a.m. from the Stadium of the Baths of Caracalla. An event that has gathered in the’last year over 40.000 participants from all over Italy.
From Bracciano, as last year, buses will be organized to facilitate citizen participation.
